Very Cool Site on Kerning

Practice your kerning. This was sent to me by way of Mary Corley.

internship

Design Students, I received this email today about an internship opportunity:

Pipeworks Software is a game design and development company located in Eugene, Oregon. They contacted me looking for programming interns.  In the process of sending them students for those positions, they mentioned that they have both art and music internships as well.  The music interns will work with other musicians in the company to help compose the scores that will serve as background music in some of their games. The art interns will be asked to create characters, landscapes, concept art, etc. to be used in some of their games.  The artwork will be both in sketch form and 3-D modeling.

If you have any students who might be interested, please have them send their contact information and a resume to Marc Rodriguez at mrodriguez@pipeworks.com.

Thanks!

MGMT Music Video

Ok, I just must be a sucker for the designers over at Oneedo. They animated MGMT's new music video and it is pretty cool! Plus, it is a good distraction from studying for finals.

Enjoy!
